Motorist dies following level crossing accident with train
ONE person has died following a level crossing accident where a train collided with a vehicle in the Central West. The accident reportedly occurred around 7.20am on Friday at Uabba Street in Euabalong in the Cobar Council region. NSW Ambulance Assistant Commissioner Tony Gately has confirmed that one person died as a result of the crash. “Our crews are responding urgently to the incident and the scene is confronting,” he said. “We have sent five crews and dispatched an ambulance helicopter with a medical team to assist.” Details on injuries sustained to other people in the accident are not available at this time.
