Could Finn Kelly be about to wake up from his coma in Neighbours and return to exact revenge on Susan Kennedy, Bea and co?

Finn has been out for the count since Susan pushed him off the top of a cliff, but it looks like he could soon be coming round to face the people who tried to kill him.

In upcoming scenes, Finns half-brother Shaun shows up and reveals his siblings sad backstory, that he was once kidnapped and held hostage for six months when his backpacking trip turned nasty. It explains why hes so unhinged, and Susan for one is touched by the truth behind his evil ways. But will Finn be as understanding towards her and Bea when he wakes up despite Susans two attempts on his life?

Speaking exclusively to metro.co.uk, actress Bonnie Anderson, who plays Bea, revealed Finn could be waking up very soon.

Theres always the fear of Finn opening his eyeballs, its very scary, she teased. All I can say is, theyre all waiting on the edge of their seats and its in the back of their minds that he could open his eyes, but its the scary thought of what could happen if he did. Whats going to happen, is he going to be horrible to her straight away? Its terrifying.

There are so many questions we keep asking. Who knows whats going to happen. It could be very very dramatic if he opens his eyes.

Actor Rob Mills has also teased his return, hoping he gets some lines to say in the near future.

Im hoping he wakes up so Im not just doing sleeping scenes forever. We dont know if he does wake up, he said, before hinting about whether hell be back either the end of this year or early next. All to be revealed, he teased.

Bonnie also teased her evil mum Lizs return, who is back with all the drama as she upsets her daughter by doing something unthinkable.

I wouldnt expect anything less from mama Liz, she said. Shes uninvited but she claims she has changed, and she hasnt, but shes a dramatic mum and wants all the attention. Bea cannot deal with her.

Speaking of the Christmas special, she added: The Christmas special is going to be awesome. Being on air on Christmas Day for the first time ever is such a mega thing. Bea starts to sing, and with the drama with her mum its the drama we all love. There;s a memory of when Bea was a long younger and her mum put her down and made her not believe in herself. She is ashamed and embarrassed. Neds amazing and has her back, hes there the entire way. He gives her the confidence to get up there and do her thing. Its a special episode, theres a lot going on for Paul, for Bea and the Kennedys. Its pretty special and I cant wait.

And finally Bea and Ned will take their relationship to the next level.

Finally! Theyve been friends for a long time, its pretty special that theyve bonded over friendship rather than anything else, Bonnie explained. Ned is such a beautiful person and so respectful, its been hard for Bea to understand and trust that. Shes been lied to for so long so shes put all of her heart into that relationship and it all went pear shaped with Finn. Its really important he adores Bea for who she is.

But teasing it wont all be plain sailing, she said: What is Neighbours without a few breakups here and there but hopefully they get their solidness on and keep together.
