New music is coming from 50 Cent – and, excitingly, it involves Ed Sheeran and Eminem.

The Candy Shop hitmaker took to Instagram on Tuesday to confirm that the somewhat unlikely trio have been in the studio together this week.

And, according to 50, its set to be fire.

I recorded a song last night with Eminem & Ed Sheeran, the rapper wrote.

I had fun doing it we got some heat.

50 Cent – real name Curtis James Jackson – didnt expand on when the track might hit our speakers, and added further confusion by adding the hashtags #lecheminduroi and #bellator – referencing his new luxury brand of champagne and partnership with American mixed martial arts promoter, Bellator MMA.

And while the 43-year-old insisted recording the new single had been a blast (we can only imagine), the rapper appeared pretty straight-faced in the accompanying snap.

Cheer up, 50, it could be a number one hit!

The upcoming track marks the In Da Club singers first collaboration with Ed, though the Shape Of You singer has previously worked with Eminem on his 2017 hit, River.

The so-far untitled record comes as 50 Cent continues to work on his much-delayed sixth album, Street King Immortal – the long-awaited follow-up to 2014s Animal Ambition.

50 Cents new music comes days after the rapper-turned-actor paid tribute to a Power crew member who reportedly passed away after being struck by an SUV.

Pedro Jimenez, 63, is said to have died on location of the upcoming Starz series as he set up parking cones for a shoot.

Taking to Twitter after hearing the tragic news, 50 Cent sent his prayers to Jimenezs loved ones, writing: I just learned we lost Pedro Jimenez, a member of the Power production team early this morning.

My prayers and condolences are with the entire Jimenez family.

50 Cent also recently used social media to urge pal Cardi B not to divorce estranged husband Offset, after the couple announced they were parting ways last week.

Sliding into the comments section of a teaser for Cardis forthcoming Money music video, the rapper wrote: Thats a cute outfit… but you gotta go home. That boy love you girl.

In a separate comment he later added: No divorce, ok chill out.

Got it, Cardi?
