Its a week of heartbreak for Kana fans as Rana and Kates relationship comes to an end in Coronation Street over Kates unquenchable desire to have a baby. The writing has been on the wall for a while, but Kate whacks the nail into the coffin this week.
Elsewhere, Roy is caught in a very compromising position with Evelyn that earns them both a police caution.
Gina spots an opportunity to finally get what she wants when Tim gets drunk at a Christmas party and decides he wants to cheat on Sally.
And Jennys quest for revenge on Liz gets serious as she turns to the bottle and ends up taking a nasty fall down the stairs.

Monday 17th December Part One
Kate and Rana have a blazing row after Rana finally reveals shes not into the idea of having kids. But that wont stop Kate. Despite having lost Robert has a surrogate, she finds herself face to face with another opportunity when she heads to Adams office to unload her woes, only for the two to get stuck into a bottle of Scotch. And with babies on her mind, she kisses him passionately.

Evelyn and Roy get caught sleeping in the Woody and find themselves accused of dogging! Really they were dogging of another sort – desperately trying to find Cerberus. While they are hit with a caution for their troubles, they later spot a man walking the dog and confront him. But with no proof Evelyn is Cerberus true owner, the man laughs in her face.
Jenny tracks Johnny and Lizs movements, and her suspicion is piqued when she sees the two end up together. In reality Liz has asked for a lift to the police station after a call about Jim and Hannah. An angry Jenny confronts Johnny.
Monday 17th December Part Two
Its regret for Kate, as although Rana comes running to her after their argument insisting she doesnt want to break up, shes left reeling when Alya tells her Imran saw Kate and Adam snog. And thats the straw that breaks the camels back – Kate is dumped.
Evelyn, Roy and Tyrone are caught attempting to dognap Cerberus as they try and climb over the back garden of the place hes being kept.
Jenny and Johnny have a huge row, but it doesnt keep Johnny away. Jenny is even more furious when she checks her app to see him and Liz together in a hotel room, where Liz is telling him that Jim and Hannah are being detained for questioning.
Lewis desperately wants to prove to the Platts hes not after Audreys money.

Wednesday 19th December Part One
Brian is devastated when Phil sends him home from the nativity due to exhaustion, and ends up in the Rovers drowning his sorrows. But with alcohol surging through his veins he decides its a good idea to go and watch the show.
As Jack spots Brian in the audience, he reverts to the rap version of the play and its a huge success, much to the chagrin of Phil, who until that point had been bigging himself up to the governors. He calls Brian on to the stage to take a bow, but the petty headmaster hitches Brians belt to Angel Gabriels harness and the drunken teacher finds himself being hoisted into the air.
Rana confronts Adam over his kiss with Kate and agrees that shell talk to her fiance. But when she does its to tell her things really are over.
Sophie tells Tim he needs to sell his stake in Street Cars to help Sally after Paula slaps her with a bill for thousands.
Wednesday 19th December Part Two
Phil and Brian have a showdown in the Rovers.
Tim refuses to sell Street Cars and blames the whole mess on Sally. Sophie is shocked to learn hes put no. 4 on the market instead.
Jenny gets drunk and in a moment of stupidity, accidentally smacks herself in the face with a cupboard door. She brushes it off and her mind wanders to revenge on poor unsuspecting Liz. She spots a DVD of personal services and puts it in the player, and it gives her an idea. She logs onto an escort website, plotting something.

Friday 21st December Part One
Tim invites Gina and Faye to move in with him and Faye, still believing Sally to be guilty. When Sally rings home, Gina intercepts her call and plays them off against each other. Theyre both left crushed. Drowning his sorrows, Tim hits the bottle at the Street Cars Christmas party and angrily declares its only right he gets to cheat on Sally as she cheated on him. Annnd enter Gina, who hears everything.
Johnny sees Jennys black eye and is shocked, but Gemma is suspicious. She picks up on tension between the two as Jenny tries to stir the pot.
Yasmeen attempts to get Brian the Santa gig at the community centre.
Eileen is shocked when Seb tells her he cant adopt the twins until hes 21 so he wants her to do it.
Friday 21st December Part Two
A drunken Tim is kicked out of the bistro and ends up on top of a fire escape singing carols until Gina comes to his rescue. He confesses to her he misses Sally and as his emotions get the better of him, he kisses her.
Jenny and Johnny row and she ends up falling down the stairs.
Sally steps in to stop Abi accepting drugs off a dealer.
