Cher confirms first UK tour dates in 14 years after success of Abba cover album

Hold on to your wigs because superstar Cher has revealed she is returning for five performances in the UK and its like Christmas, Easter and our birthdays all came at once.

Im very excited to bring this show to the UK, said Cher, it was the first country to embrace Sonny & Cher, and its where we created and had our first success with Believe.

The five tour dates will hit the UK in October 2019 and run across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Leeds; they will be Chers first UK dates in 14 years.

20 October 2019 – The O2, London
24 October 2019 – Arena, Manchester
26 October 2019 – Arena Birmingham, Birmingham
28 October 2019 – The SSE Hydro, Glasgow
30 October 2019 – First Direct Arena, Leeds

Cher made an epic comeback this past summer starring in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.

She later released an entire album of ABBA covers, with Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! A Man After Midnight being the first track from the record.

Chers tribute album, entitled Dancing Queen, featured some of ABBAs best-loved classics such as Waterloo, SOS and Mamma Mia.

The tour will see Cher perform those songs live, tickets go on sale Friday 14 December at 10am.
