We are flying towards Christmas which means its time for a first look at how the big day will pan out for EastEnders lot, and theres set to be more fire than when your dads let loose with the brandy on the Christmas pudding.
Christmas Day is set to be a biggie for the Slaters. There are too many people with too many secrets under that roof for them all to stay hidden, but which one will come out?
A sneaky little tease of the upcoming Christmas trailer has given us a hint of what to expect and it sounds like there is potential carnage on the horizon for the family, and we dont mean the mess Kat leaves when she tries to carve the turkey.
The biggest secret under that roof is the fact that Alfie fathered Hayleys baby, and with them all in such close proximity, could Kat finally catch wind of it?

In the short clip Jean is heard saying hes not the man I thought he was before Alfie says one of us has to leave…this could tip her over the edge, with Hayley clutching the baby with tears running down her face.
Is Alfie going to do a bunk and leave behind the marriage hes trying to save? Will Hayley do a moonlight flit with the baby in tow?
Or, given the sighting of Kat, will the truth come out and ruin her Christmas and like Alfie says, shes tipped right over that edge?
Speaking of the explosive storyline, Shane Richie told metro.co.uk: Alfie thinks hes doing the right thing and the right thing by Hayley by saying “Ill step up and be the father, but we dont have to tell Kat just yet”. And Hayley wants it all out in the open and so Alfie does something, very unusual to play and that was when he kind of leads Hayley on.
Asked if he Alfie came back thinking it was all over with Kat, Shane admitted: No, not at all! He still thinks, we can do this. And thats the lovely thing about playing Alfie, theres always a light at the end of the tunnel. In his head he goes “Ill sit down and Ill talk with Kat and Ill let her know that Im the father of the baby and shell be find about it, we could adopt the child”. Hes got this whole plan and he convinces himself that he can make work. And playing that was great.
