The Galaxy Defenders are back – and it looks like they mean business.

The return of the Men in Black franchise in 2019 after six years away is good news indeed, with a new pair of secret agents ready to take on more extra-terrestrial menaces.

Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are your new MiB double act, with the pair playing Agent H and Agent M respectively.

And Hemsworth has released the first official image from the forthcoming film today (7 December), which sees H and M ripping aliens a new one, according to the actor.

Hemsworths caption is a reminder that the movie will initially be set in London, where the two new agents are apparently based.

Speaking recently about the new film, Thompson said that she hopes the new cast and crew will do the MiB franchise proud.

Its a lot more action than I think youve seen in the other Men in Black films, she hinted. It is global in scope, its set here in the UK which is super fun, theres a lot of fun, English humour.

As agents, they also travel elsewhere in the world. I think its bigger in scope with amazing folks like Liam Neeson (Ireland!) and Emma and Kumail Nanjiani and Rebecca Ferguson.

We have a really rad fight scene, she added. Sounds good to us…

Men in Black International will open in cinemas on June 14, 2019.
