Summer scorcher with a heatwave predicted this weekend

GET set to swelter this weekend with a low-intensity heatwave predicted for the Central West. Temperatures will rise as high as 37 degrees in some parts of the region, with only one location predicted not to rise above 30 degrees. The hottest place to be will be Dubbo and Forbes with both predicted to reach the mid 30s on Saturday before increasing to 37 on Sunday. Meanwhile, wet weather is predicted to return early next week with much of the region set to receive rainfall through until Wednesday.
