Town to celebrate Christmas with community party
Nyngans community services are hosting a Christmas Party for all members of the community to celebrate the festive season. On December 17 from 9.30am until 11am everyone is invited to Davidson Park to enjoy a free barbecue, arts and crafts, music, face painting and more. Organiser Katie White from the Community Hub said the event is a great opportunity for members of the people to meet new people. “Its going to be a great morning to relax and unwind as were getting close to the end of the year,” Ms White said. There are a number of services available in Nyngan to help members of the community. The Community Hub is a point of access and drop-in centre to information, resources and services for a wide variety of individuals. The community Christmas party is open to everyone of all ages, and is a drug and alcohol free event. For wet weather the event will be at the town hall.
