Christine And The Queens announced as All Points East headliner

We may not be out of December yet, but that doesnt mean we cant look forward to the summertime.

After this years inaugural All Points East festival in East London, it has been confirmed the festival is returning to Victoria Park – and the line-up just keeps getting better.

After it was announced The Chemical Brothers will be headlining on Friday 24 May, Christine And The Queens have been confirmed for Sunday 26 May.

Yaaaaaaas.

The critically acclaimed popstar, real name Heloise Letissier, has earned huge success and buzz with her newest album Chris, and will be performing songs including Tilted, Girlfriend and Doesnt Matter on the closing night of All Points Easts opening weekend.

In addition to Christine And The Queens, the Sunday bill boasts Metronomy, Maribou State, Toro Y Moi, Ezra Collective, Kurt Vile and the Violators, and Honne.

Also previously announced for All Points East was Bon Iver, who will be headlining on 2 June.

All Points Easts inaugural line-up saw headline sets from The XX, LCD Soundsystem, The National, Bjork and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, so were expecting big things.

The festival is also bringing back its midweek In The Neighbourhood event, which will provide activities and entertainment for the local community.

Tickets are on general sale this Friday at 9am.
