There is devastating and life changing news all round in soapland as Sinead Osbourne is hit with tragedy in Coronation Street when she hears that her friend Steff has days to live while Mandy Richardson is left fearing her unborn baby will die when she is taken unwell – and then gets unsettling news.

Over in Emmerdale, Daz Spencers life crashes quite literally when he runs someone down while in EastEnders, Alfie Moon is also getting the bombshell to end them all when he discovers that Hayley Slater has given birth to his baby daughter.

Jean warns Alfie she will expose the truth to Kat in EastEnders

With the teens having crashed Dazs car and fled, he finds it after being ditched from the cab after messing things up with his new boss. Drunk, he gets behind the wheel but when he hits someone and leaves them motionless, he flees the scene.
