The Lion King live action trailer went down a treat as it resembled the Disney version pretty much shot by shot and left everyone sobbing at their screens.

But even though it looks exactly like the movie we have all grown to love, it is rumoured that there is going to be a slight mix up with a brand new elephant shrew thrown into the mix.

Thats right – an elephant shrew!

Were already in love and we havent even seen it yet.

Sources close to the project told Variety that comedienne Amy Sedaris will play the brand new character, who is a tiny mouse like creature with a long snout, which looks a little bit like the trunk of an elephant.

Just last week Disney shared the first teaser for the live action remake – starring Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and Beyonce.

And if that wasnt enought, James Earl Jones narrated the entire trailer as Mufasa.

As the animals gathered, he began: Everything the light touches is our kingdom. But a kings time as ruler rises and falls like the sun.

One day, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.

And before we even had time to process any of the magic – Elton Johns Circle Of Life started to play in the background.

Donald, who voices Simba, revealed being part of the Disney gang was probably the safest thing, just because everybody whos involved is a fan, and everybody who is involved knows it really well.

However, he did have a bit of a hard time getting his head around working with Queen Bey, as he added to ET Online: We started recording some stuff and its, you know, its a little intimidating.
