7 Holby City spoilers: Holby and Serena put to the test and more

The CQC inspectors have turned their attention to the wards of Holby City hospital (having previously been spotted in the ED). Everyone is under even more pressure than usual and on AAU Serena and Leah have a tricky time of it when bits of a patient go missing. Hanssen, meanwhile, is trying to avoid the CQC inspector in case talking to her brings up painful truths.

On Darwin, Nicky has decided she wants to stay in CT, but first she has to impress Mo – and Jac Naylor – by diagnosing a tricky case. And after a gruelling shift, Meena has made some decisions of her own about where her future might lie. Here are all the spoilers to watch out for.

1. The pressure is on AAU to perform well during the CQC inspectors visit. When a patient is brought in with the fingers missing from one hand, Leah and Serena have to try to reunite man and digits before its too late.

2. Jac Naylor is recovering well from her latest surgery, but seems reluctant to leave hospital. Whats keeping her on Darwin?

3. Meena has to deal with a nasty situation when a patient suddenly deteriorates. And when she meets with the CQC inspector, Meena makes a huge decision about her future.

4. On Darwin theres a very strange patient with a dangerous obsession. Can Nicky get to the bottom of whats going on with him?

5. It seems that Serena has two fans – the hand-held one that Leah gives her to help with her hot flushes, and Leah herself. Theres a spark between the two women and Serena is striving to remain professional, but can they continue to work together?

6. Nicky has decided she wants her future to be in CT surgery, but she needs to get approval from a senior colleague. With Jac out of action, its Mo she has to impress – but Jac has a way of making her presence felt anyway. Has Nicky got what it takes?

7. Henrik Hanssen is blaming himself for bringing John Gaskell to Holby, just as he brought his son Fredrik. A patient with Alzheimers helps him to understand where his strengths and skills are – but is he ready to move on?
