Inglis hoping for bumper sales crop and new Victorian highs

The only time the million-dollar mark has been broken at a Melbourne yearling sale was two years ago, when a half brother to group 1 winner The Quarterback brought $1.4 million, the highest price for a youngster ever sold at auction in Victoria.

But the sales company Inglis is hoping that mark could be tested next year when siblings to a Melbourne Cup winner, a Caulfield Cup winner and a Cox Plate winner headline the 2019 catalogue.
