The first look at the Lion King is here, this is not an alarm.

The official Disney Twitter page has shared the first teaser of the live action remake – starring Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and actual Beyonce – and it looks pretty incredible.

If all this wasnt enough excitement, James Earl Jones narrated the whole trailer as Mufasa.

Side note: Like anyone else could ever take on that role.

As the animals gathered, he began: Everything the light touches is our kingdom. But a kings time as ruler rises and falls like the sun.

One day, the sun will set on my time here, and will rise with you as the new king.

Right on cue, the Circle Of Life began playing, and making us all completely emotional.

Sharing the teaser, the official account simply wrote: July 19,2019.

Apart from the all-star cast – seriously the lineup of our fantasies – not much else is known about the remake.

However Donald, who voices Simba, revealed being part of the Disney gang was probably the safest thing, just because everybody whos involved is a fan, and everybody who is involved knows it really well.

Well, duh. Who doesnt know all of the Lion King soundtrack – and every single harmony – off by heart?

(And Lion King 2, just sayin…)

But the Community actor revealed there was one part of filming that he was finding a little intimidating.

Nope, not taking on probably one of the most iconic cartoon characters in the history of the world, but working with Beyonce – who plays Nala.
