Johnny Depps wizard character proves to be a very convincing fella as he is successful in getting arguably the films sweetest character to help his evil agenda.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Alison has admitted that Queenies decision-making was not a form of manipulation – she was lonely and feeling betrayed by her sister Tina.

Jacob [Kowalski] doesnt come with her, she said. Its not so much about Jacob not coming with her to the dark side, its like, “Jacob, walk with me, were in this together”. And she doesnt have those two, so who does she have?

Alison sympathises with Queenies struggle as she is sure that even the great Albus Dumbledore (played by Jude Law) wouldnt be able to resist the power of Grindelwald.

More: Johnny Depp

I still believe in her heart of hearts shes going over to fight what she believes in, the star said. Grindelwald is saying, “Were creating a different world and the world that she is in is broken.

I dont believe shes turning evil. Its more like shes trying to find somebody who is giving her an option. Hes manipulating her but hes manipulating everybody. He even did that with Dumbledore.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is out in cinemas now.
