10 EastEnders spoilers: Kat death trauma, special episode and big return

Ever since Kat Moon returned, viewers have been waiting for her to steal the spotlight, giving Jessie Wallace the material we know she can deliver in EastEnders – that time is about to come in a week from absolute hell for Kat. Not only is she involved in a deadly crash but she also learns a devastating secret from the past and its all topped off with the return of Alfie.

Its also a pivotal week for Ruby Allen who learns that both Ross and Matt have been charged with rape. But what follows is a very public discussion of her case which shows the different views on consent – and Ruby eventually snaps and reveals that she is the person they are all talking about.

Away from this drama, Mel Owens revenge gathers momentum while Hayley Slater gets a surprise.

Monday 26th November

Kat heads for inspiration for the Knowledge and meets up with some old friends of Charlies but she is rocked to the core when a secret from his past is exposed. As she flees the scene, she accidentally runs down an OAP and is thrown from her moped.

Elsewhere, Hunter lashes out at Mel over Rays absence while Mel seeks advice from Jack before then speaking to a jeweller about an engagement ring replica. She then touches base with Maddie and books a training session.

Ruby discovers that Ross and Matt have been charged and is thrown when she sees that her story is the lead in the Gazette. When she then sees comments questioning her story online, she despairs.

Tuesday 27th November

Mel uses her first training session to build a bond with Maddie, who she then tempts to go for drinks at the Vic. As Mel keeps the booze flowing, she presses Maddie for information on her marriage and gets what she needs.

Jay plucks up the courage to ask Ruby out on a date but she is occupied with what is going on while Martin gets a message from Ross and agrees to meet him and Matt in the Vic – only for Ruby and Stacey to walk in.

Kat leaves the scene of the crime and lies to Hayley about what happened before then heading to E20 to drown her sorrows. After Stacey finds her, Kat is given a reality check and she then breaks down.

Thursday 29th November

The locals in the Vic discuss the article in the Gazette and give differing views on consent while Ruby desperately tries to ignore the comments. Staceys fury boils over when she sees Martin with Ross and Matt and it becomes clear that they are the men who have been arrested. Glenn then arrives to protest his mates innocence so Ruby snaps and reveals she is the one the story is about.

Kat also has an outburst in the Vic after getting drunk and her family are left concerned for her welfare.

Friday 30th November

Its the day of Hayleys birthday and Jean plans a surprise party to try and cheer her and Kat up – but neither Kat or Hayley are impressed. However, as things get underway, Kat suddenly gets a surprise when Alfie turns up.

Ruby tries to face the world after what happened in the Vic but soon becomes overwhelmed in the market. Whitney reaches out and they have a heart to heart as Whitney opens up about her own experiences.
