The Lego Movie 2 trailer has dropped and everything definitely isnt awesome for the gang
The official trailer for The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part has dropped, and it looks even better than the first.
Yes, seriously.
It has been four years since we last saw Emmet Brickowski, Wyldstyle and the gang, and theyre facing a huge new threat from Lego Duplo invaders – who are out to ruin everything they can get their plastic hands on.
Ever the optimist, Emmet/Rex Dangervest – voiced by Chris Pratt – still thinks everything is awesome, that is until he manages to get Lucy/Wyldstyle, aka Elizabeth Banks, abducted.
Not so awesome…
As well Chris, Elizabeth, Will Arnett and Alison Brie returning for the sequel – or how its originally been named, The Second Part – Tiffany Haddish and Brooklyn Nine-Nines Stephanie Beatriz are also joining in the fun.

Filmmakers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have completely rewritten the sequels script – after they were dropped from the new Star Wars Han Solo spin-off.
In a previous chat with Collider, producer Dan Lin hinted at what were in for, explaining: The team is all back together, so its Lord and Miller, myself and Chris McKay. Mike Mitchell is the new voice whos coming in to direct the movie.
Chris and Phil are rewriting the script right now, but were in production. Were picking up where the first movie left us, where the Duplo have now come and theyre attacking Bricksburg.
Its several years later, and youre going to see the result of that.
Count. Us. In.
Alongside the trailer, shared on Legos official Twitter page, they teased: Its time to go where no brick has gone before. Watch the new trailer for #TheLEGOMovie2 now. @TheLEGOMovie.
