Emmerdale star Andrew Scarborough has added more fuel to that frankly blazing is Joe dead or alive fire by suggesting that Graham Foster wouldnt have been able to go through with killing Joe Tate – and added that he would love to see Joe rock up at Home Farm, alive and well.
Whenever viewers dont see the scene of a death or the body afterwards, there are always suspicions that writers are trying to pull the rug out from under our feet – just why havent they explicitly confirmed it on screen? Surely, they must be hiding something, right?
Andrew, who plays troubled Graham, certainly isnt ruling it out and when he was pressed on could be alive, he teased: That would be wonderful! Graham treated Joe like his own son, and I dont think Graham would be able to kill him…
Colour us intrigued!

Whatever Joes fate is though, it is having a major impact on Grahams state of mind and as he continues to spiral out of control, the ramifications for the likes of Cain and Debbie could be far reaching.
Andrew explained: Graham is on the brink of exploding and wants to tell Debbie everything, but he doesnt. Hes drinking and finding it increasingly difficult to keep a lid on it, but knows he must.
What he does say is that Debbies dad Cain knows more than she realises. Its Grahams way of deflecting and transferring – he wants someone else to feel what hes feeling.
This will inevitably bring testing times to Cain and Debbie, who still doesnt know that her fiance is dead. Although, to be fair, none of us do to be sure.
However, at the time of the episode, both Emmerdale and Ned Porteous confirmed the actors exit from the show. That said, characters such as Kim Tate, Ross Barton and Rebecca White have all returned from the dead in the past so we wouldnt close that coffin lid on Joe quite yet.
