EastEnders spoilers: The aftermath to Mick Carters killer showdown with Stuart Highway revealed

Mick Carter appears to be getting his life back on track after spending months in prison falsely accused of shooting evil Stuart Highway in EastEnders. New pictures have emerged showing Danny Dyer filming alongside Zack Morris, who plays teenager Keegan Baker.
At the moment, things look bleak for Mick as he languishes in his cell while back in Walford, Linda appears to have completely given up on him. She has taken off her ring, ditched his lawyer and even contemplated setting divorce proceedings in motion.

And she is growing closer and closer to Stuart, the man who has orchestrated Micks downfall. Smug Stuart is getting comfortable in the Vic and this has led to Linda kicking Tina out. And when Shirley gets back, everything will kick off again when they two women go to war over Mick.

But while things are bad now, Mick will be out before the end of the year as filming pictures have already showed him taking Stuart hostage and preparing to strike him with a heavy weapon. Whether or not he kills Stuart remains to be seen but in these new episodes being worked on, Mick is sporting grazed knuckles from his showdown.

Mick is with Keegan in the grounds of the Walford Wanderers Football Club and they are trying to teach the youth players a thing or two with their ball skills. But while Mick and Keegan show off, they soon have some real skills demonstrated to them.

One of the players mothers runs onto the pitch and manages to kick the ball through Micks legs and into the goal.
Its unconfirmed whether this was part of filming the scenes or whether this was an off camera kickabout between scenes but either way, Mick is finally given a reason to smile as he enjoys some more light hearted times.
