Correction, when did a Mercedes McQueen wedding go off without a hitch? Her first to Russ certainly didnt go smoothly, with Louise blurting out Mercedes had slept with Warren Fox. Second time around wont be much different.
Theres set to be huge drama for the bride-to-be as things end in violence on her big day.
Mercedes has a huge celebration planned, with a beautiful boutique dress, flowers galore, and no expense spared. But all the money in the world couldnt paste over the cracks of the betrayal both she and Russ have done to each other.
Mercedes has been having a secret affair with Sylver, while Russ slept with Mercedes cousin Goldie, and in this village secrets dont stay that way for very long – will things come out in church?

Whatever goes down, it results in violence, as Mercedes throws a punch on her wedding day – but whos on the receiving end? And Goldie is heartbroken at seeing Russ get married – will she be the one to spill the beans?
Everything and anything could stand in the way of a Russ Owen and Mercedes McQueen wedding, actor Stuart Manning, who plays Russ Owen, teases. I think its so important that everything goes off without a hitch, because they are trying to prove to everyone that they are the perfect couple, but clearly, they are not!
Asked if the couple are meant to be, he added: I think they are, as Mercedes has always been Russ first true love. Mercedes cant help herself, and doesnt seem to be happy with anyone.
David Tag, who plays Sylver McQueen, revealed that Sylver is having to bury his feelings for Mercedes as he watches her get married. But will he really be able to let her go?
Hes not happy about them getting married at all, he said. However, hes reluctantly taking it, because he feels like its the right thing to do. I think Sylver knows it wont last, and its just a matter of time before they finish.
He added that there is one thing that might get Sylver coming forward to ruin the wedding: Sylver would never stand in the way… unless he truly believed something was wrong.
The couple also have Goldie to deal with, who has so far blackmailed Russ into buying her expensive gifts in order to keep quiet.

Goldie is absolutely gutted that Russ and Mercedes are getting married! She does have true feelings for him, actress Chelsee Healey. Goldie has completely fallen for Russ at this point, hes been very lovely to her, which shes not used to.
Goldie could definitely stand in their way on the wedding day, but youll have to wait and see…
