Coronation Street enemies Connor McIntyre and Les Dennis reunite for Christmas treat
They may have been mortal enemies on screen in Coronation Street but theres nothing like a bit of festive goodwill to all men to allow people to bury the hatchet. Actors Connor McIntyre and Les Dennis have reunited to officially open Manchesters Christmas Market and they brought joy to the crowd as they were all smiles – a world away from the murderous feud their late characters Pat Phelan and Michael Rodwell were involved in.
The stars smiled and larked about for the ceremony as Christmas officially gets underway in Manchester with their world famous market – and the pair will soon be bringing more festive joy to audiences as they are in panto together.
Connor recently enthused to Metro.co.uk that their casting as the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella was inspired – and even their names Phelena and Michaela are drawn from their infamous Corrie characters.
On the Street, Phelan dispatched Michael, leaving him to die after a bitter showdown and it commenced the darker period of Phelans reign of terror.
But away from the killer storyline, the pair are good friends and cant wait to show a different side to their relationship on stage.
