When is the Grinch release date?
A remake of one of the nations most beloved Christmas films is hitting the big screens this week as The Grinch is revived in time for the festive season.
Benedict Cumberbatch will voice the Dr Seuss character in the animated film, following in the footsteps of Jim Carrey, who played the same role in the 2000 live-action version of the film.
It follows the tale of the misanthropic creature as he attempts to ruin Christmas for the residents of Whoville.

When is it being released?
The film will be coming to UK cinemas on Friday 9 November, although tickets are available to pre-order now.
Who is in the cast?
Benedict Cumberbatch, who sports an American accent, is joined by Pharrell Williams whos lent his voice as the narrator.
The Greatest Showmans Cameron Seely voices the pivotal Cindy Lou Who, while Park and Recreations Rashida Jones takes on the role of mother Donna Lou Who.

Also starring is the legendary Angela Lansbury who plays the Mayor of Whoville, and SNLs Kenan Thompson – also of 90s show Kenan and Kel – who voices Whoville resident Bricklebaum.
