The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travels of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

Ron Howard, meanwhile, will return as a producer on the second series of hybrid documentary Mars, which hopes to create a realistic depiction of the first human colonies on the Red Planet.
