Please do stop the music, Donald – youve been told by Rihanna.

The Anti singer has had her say on the US Presidents use of her music at his rallies, slamming the MAGA gatherings as tragic and vowing to prevent Donald Trump from ever using her tunes for his political gain again.

RiRis 2007 hit Dont Stop The Music was selected by Trumps team as part of the motivating soundtrack for his rally in in Chattanooga, Tennessee yesterday (4 November), which was held ahead of tomorrows hugely-important mid-term elections in the US.

When The Washington Posts Philip Rucker noted that Rihannas music was being used to drum up support for the Republicans, the star quickly took to Twitter to assure her fans that she would be stepping in to prevent any further endorsement of the controversial Commander-in-Chief.

Rihannas withering put-down of the Trump gatherings as tragic rallies went down brilliantly on Twitter, with the diss racking up over 346,000 likes on Twitter at the time of writing.

Not for much longer…me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up philip! https://t.co/dRgRi06GrJ

Shes not the first artist whos been forced into blocking the President from using their music. The likes of Adele, The Rolling Stones, Pharrell and many, many more have all made moves to prevent Trump from using their music in public in recent months.

And he can now cross RiRi off the list of artists he can use, too – he surely cant have too many more options left now…

Rihannas recent political activism hasnt just extended to derailing Trumps momentum, though.

Over the weekend, the singer took to Instagram to encourage the Miami electorate to make history in tomorrows elections by voting in Democrat Andrew Gillum as Governor.

Lets #BringItHome, Florida, she wrote – but will the Sunshine State listen?
