Race-by-race preview and tips for Goulburn
Track likely to improve to good 4, with the rail true so should play fairly even.
Race 1 CL1 HCP (1400m)
Looks the right race for 1. Battle Fury. Chased home a good one at Bathurst last start after winning there three runs back. Gets a lovely smother midfield.
Dangers: 2. Song And A Prayer won his maiden three starts back and has been strong to the line from off the speed in his last two.

Race 2 CL1 HCP (1000m)
Warwick Farm colt 2. Bobby Dazzler flew home to win on debut at Nowra; while loved the debut win at Orange of 4. Indicators On who is destined for better races and the one to beat.
Dangers: 8. Mosuo appears the only other chance. Resumed with a nice win at Nowra and kept up to the mark with an impressive trial win at home.
How to play it: Indicators On to win and box 2-4-8 in trifecta
Race 3 BM 66 HCP (1600m)
Canberra mare 6. Red Heat can make it two from her last three. Powered home to win two starts back before a strong effort in similar grade last start.
Dangers: 1. Marabel is the class runner back from Group 3 level, but 63kg is a big ask; while 7. Confidential is an improver who hits the line hard; and big watch second-up on 8. Triple Hero after resuming in town.

Race 4 F & M MAIDEN HCP (1200m)
Keen on 2. Korrawi who got home strong at big odds at Kembla before being collared late at Bathurst.
Dangers: 1. Benfica Maid was good on debut despite being unwanted in betting, 8. Queens was just fair on debut at Cessnock, but looked sharper in a recent trial; while 3. Vivre La Vie was close-up in a recent trial.
How to play it: Korrawi to win and quinella 1 and 2
Race 5 C, G & E MAIDEN HCP (1200m)
Like 2. Unknown Universe who debuted late May behind the smart Spin Bowles and has been given two quiet trials to prepare.
Dangers: Warwick Farm colt 7. Nordicus flopped on a Soft 7 at his only start, but has looked good in two recent trial wins and better suited on top of the ground.
How to play it: Unknown Universe to win and quinella 2 and 7
Race 6 CL3 HCP (1200m)
Fan of 8. With Purpose and an even bigger fan of the Pierro breed. Got the job done nicely last start and looked strong in a quiet trial at home.
Dangers: 7. Bridyn May has been a disappointing this prep, but expect a much-improved effort; 1. Thorn In My Side resumed with a nice second in better grade at Canberra; while 3. Nines Enough will appreciate the extra journey third-up.

Race 7 ANNIVERSARY CUP (1300m)
Canberra-trained 9. Rhyming Puppet can bounce back after not missing by much last start. One of the better weighted runners all day.
Dangers: 3. Equal Balance looks well placed coming back from a Randwick Highway and BM 70 at Rosehill; while 1. Cyrus Rocks resumes on his preferred good surface and rider takes 2kg off.
