Settlers Tavern Golden Ticket winner announced

The winner of the Settlers Tavern Margaret River Golden Ticket Competition has been drawn, with Margaret River local Tom Dowling selected to receive a massive six weeks worth of tickets to concerts and comedy gigs at the tavern.

Drawn by Settlers Tavern marketing manager Natasha Birch last week, the win will allow Mr Dowling to attend selected ticketed events at the Tavern including Grinspoon frontman Phil Jamiesons solo show on November 8, The Aints play The Saints on November 24, Dead Letter Circus on November 30 and The Voice Australia winner Sam Perry live on Friday December 7.

Mr Dowling said he was particularly keen to catch The Aints, fronted by The Saints frontman Ed Kuepper.

“Im a bit of an Ed Kuepper fan so Im really looking forward to that one,” he said on Thursday.

Mr Dowling entered the competition while visiting the Tavern bistro, and said he was helped by his son Sunny.

“He actually put the entry in the draw, but I think hes a bit young for the gigs so dad will have to help.”

Added to the Six Weeks of Spring Swag prize package is a $50 bistro voucher for each of the six gigs, along with with tickets to the show for three of Mr Dowlings friends.
