It seems pretty clear we hear Freddie Mercurys vocals blasting out during Bohemian Rhapsody – his voice is so distinctive its hard not to hear – but it turns out its not only him.

In fact it all goes a bit deeper than that – what we hear is not just Freddie, and its not just star Rami Malek, its a complex mix.

Rami Malek does indeed also blast out the tunes, so its not all lip syncing, but surprisingly were also hearing another singer all together.

It is an amalgamation of a few voices, Rami told the Metro US. But predominantly it is my hope and the hope of everyone that we will hear as much Freddie as possible. I think that is the goal for all of us. The other voice heard, according to The New York Times, is that of Canadian singer Marc Matel, blended to create one powerful voice with huge range.
