Marvel villain Thanos could be in good, evil company when Avengers 4 arrives.

Or maybe even defeated with speculation mounting as to which other Marvel villain could continue his reign of terror in the next installment of the franchise.

With at least some of those superheroes expected to return, its likely that Thanos will finally be defeated leaving space for an even bigger and badder villain to either join him or take his place.

Marvel fans are hotly-tipping Kang the Conqueror, to step into Thanos shoes. In the comic books, the character is known for time travel, which is expected to be a big theme in Avengers 4.

Galactus is also a top possibility – Fantastic Four has been pretty absent from the Marvel universe in recent years but its not too far-fetched that the villain will step up as the next to be feared. In fact, Galactus and Thanos share similar interests as he has also tried to destroy Earth several times in the past, but every attempt has been shut down by Reed Richards.
