DJ Khaled tried to live his best rock star life over the weekend.

Unfortunately, it just wasnt meant to be as the music producer suffered a fail attempt at crowd-surfing.

The Wild Thoughts producer attended the 18th birthday bash of Swizz Beatzs son Prince Nasir on Saturday night, where they were joined by stars like Travis Scott.

Nasir was lucky enough to have rap artist Flipp Dinero perform his hit single Leave Me Alone during the party and it seems DJ Khaled may have gotten a little too excited.

In a video clip, Khaled is seen jumping up and down next to Travis as the rapper performs, clearly loving the exclusive performance.

Caught up in the buzz of the moment, Khaled then launches himself into the crowd who let him fall to the ground rather than hoist him above their heads as a successful crowd-surf requires.

Still, Khaled couldnt have been happier with his first time and posted the video on Instagram with the caption: I always wanted to crowd surf for my first time I had to do it to the hottest anthem out @flippdinero#LeaveMeAlone.

HAPPY BDAY @therealswizzz son NASIR ! I had so much fun ! @flippdinero you lit that stage up!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @wethebestmusic!!!!! ANOTHER ONE.

Swizz, who also posted the video, said of their big night: How my Sons 18th bday bash the craziest party Ive been to all year. The youth energy is electric. It was so amazing to see all the love they have for you King [sic].

No doubt DJ Khaled was itching to crowd-surf all summer after joining Beyonce and Jay Z on their On The Run II tour but remaining firmly on the stage. The hip hop star recently celebrated his own sons birthday with his pride and joy, little Asahd, turning two earlier in October.
