Marvels Kevin Feige honoured with first-ever Creative Visionary Award
Kevin Feige is a certified creative visionary.
Well, thats what the Ryman Arts Board have ruled anyway, with the organisation deciding to present their first-ever Marty & Leah Sklar Creative Visionary Award to the Marvel president.
The gong has been established in the memory of the Arts Boards former president and Disney scriptwriter Marty Sklar, who passed away in 2017.
Feige will be honoured for his stellar work in the superhero fiction field, particularly when it comes to bringing Marvels roster of characters to life on the big screen through storytelling and visual effects.

The Ryman Arts Board established the Marty & Leah Sklar Creative Visionary Award to honor Martys memory and to celebrate the legacy of two amazing founders of our organisation, Hettema said in a statement.
We are thrilled that the first recipient of the award, Kevin Feige, embodies the aspiration of the award so completely.
Kevin has reimagined an entire universe of storytelling and introduced us to thrilling new worlds through his creative leadership and vision.
Feige will receive the award at the glitzy ceremony on 7 November at the Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles.
As well as the prize-giving, the event will also feature a Q&A session with Black Panther writer Joe Robert Cole and director of photography Rachel Morrison.
Sounds like a decent evening – hopefully our invite is in the post, Kev?
