Ariana Grande has revealed she is taking her latest album on a world tour.

Taking to Twitter to reveal the news, Ariana shared a video which revealed that the tour will kick off in New York on 18 March, and will take in North America for the first three months; she has yet to reveal the rest of the worldwide dates.

The tour comes after a devastating 17 months which saw her Dangerous Woman show at the Manchester Arena targeted by terrorists, the death of her ex-boyfriend and the end of her engagement.

At the Manchester show 22 people died and more than 800 were injured, many of whom were children and teenagers, and after taking two weeks off and organising and performing at the One Love Manchester benefit concert, the tour resumed in June.

Ariana then released her fourth album Sweetener in August, but a month later was left devastated by the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller after an apparent overdose.

Weeks later the 25-year-old singer ended her engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.

On Sweetener she dedicated a song to her fans who were killed during the terror attack; titling the last song Get Well Soon it centres it around healing, in tribute to the 22 victims.

Although the music stops long before the song ends, the singer included 40 extra seconds of silence at the end of the track to take it to 5 minutes 22 seconds – mirroring the date of the attack.

A presale for American Express Card Members starts Thursday 1 November at 10:00 a.m. local time, through to 3 November.

International tour dates will also be announced soon.
