KSRelief making efforts to help war-hit Syrians

JEDDAH: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) distributed on Saturday recreational bags, including various games, to 100,000 Syrian students in a number of areas and villages in Syrias Aleppo governorate.
KSRelief distributes more than 87,000 bread loaves daily among Syrians displaced by war in the country.
The center has also launched a project to improve public utilities in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
KSRelief has begun renovating and repairing 495 houses, two shelters and 16 recreation centers in the Syrian governorate.
The project aims to improve living conditions by providing decent housing. The center is also supporting agricultural projects in northern Aleppo by distributing diesel fuel for irrigation pumps and farms.
During September, 91,260 liters of diesel was distributed to irrigation pumps in 426 agricultural farms, covering an area of 9,126 sq. km in 33 villages. The distribution will continue on a monthly basis to ensure the irrigation of crops.
