Its the confirmation that many Coronation Street fans have been waiting to hear – Carla Connor is still in love with her ex and her business partner Peter Barlow. As she admits her feelings to her dad Johnny, could a reunion for the pair finally be on the cards?
At the moment, Peter is feeling miffed as Carla seemingly pushes him out of the running of the factory and he has been making secret plans to sell his share and invest in the snooker hall on Victoria Street.
But when Carla throws herself into helping the girls prepare Sinead Tinkers designs for a nightwear competition to raise money for a cervical cancer charity, he cant hide his awe and love for her. Nevertheless, he still presses ahead with a meeting with an Underworld competitor interested in his shares as he feels surplus to requirements.

Having been tipped off by Sarah Platt, a thunderous Carla arrives at the meeting and tells Nigel that there is no way she will ever allow him in the factory. As he is put in his place, Peter admits his feelings of being useless at the factory but Carla shoots this down and insists that they can make a good team so long as they are honest with one another.
Later, Carla confides in Johnny that she cant help it – she still loves Peter. Is she finally ready to give the relationship another chance? And if so, will she regret it?
