Chesney Brown may have had his eyes on Gemma Winter ever since his relationship with Sinead Tinker fell apart at the start of the year but after things continue to just not work out between the kebab wrapping pair in Coronation Street, it looks like a new love interest is on the horizon.
Chesney is hopeful when he and Gemma arrange a date but Gemma has again misinterpreted this and, despite having feelings for Ches herself, she turns up with her mate Spike and is soon necking with him in full view of a gutted Chesney.
A passing Emma Brooker clocks Chesneys kicked puppy face and suggests that she joins him so that he can save face and have a double date. While Gemma and Chesney are secretly pining for one another, they both have different people on their arm!
It soon becomes clear to Emma but afterwards, she suggests that they keep dating so Chesney can get some practice in on romancing women before he wins Gemmas heart. A novel set up, were sure youll agree.

But while Chesney is grateful for the support, its clear that Emma is starting to develop stronger feelings for her fake beau.
Will Chesney soon give up on Gemma and realise that he already has someone by his side who could be his actual true love?
