The Margaret River Polocrosse annual carnival will once again be held in Witchcliffe next month, with a huge schedule of family friendly competition and demonstrations over the two day event.

Held each year the gathering continues to grow with record numbers of teams arriving in the region to compete against local talents.

This year a Stockmans Challenge will be held on the Friday evening, and a roping demonstration on the Saturday evening, while polocrosse competitions will be held throughout the weekend.

Polocrosse has a popular following in the region, the South West boasting some of the sport's brightest talents.

Club spokesperson Jodi Dunlop said she hoped to see local spectators.

“It would be great to see some of the locals out at the grounds cheering on their Club,” she said.

“Its always such a good time out there and hoping this year with a few new fun inclusions we will have a great tournament once again.”

The tournament will be held on Nov 17-18 at the grounds on Bussell Highway, Witchcliffe.
