Getting Involved: As a member of the Country Womens Association there are an endless number of ways you can be involved with your community. Each state or territory manages their own office, and acts as a guide for CWA branches across that state.

Secretary: Mrs Grace Chamberlain

Treasurer: Mrs Diane Donald

Vice Presidents: Mrs Mary Lamph, Mrs Hazel Griffith and Mrs Margaret McGlynn.

International Officer: Mrs Mary Ann Bourke

Handicraft Officer: Mrs Grace Chamberlain

Publicity Officer: Mrs Lee Thornton

Councillors: Mrs Grace Chamberlain and Mrs Lee Thornton

Mrs Jackson thanked the office bearers and members for their support last year and Mrs Jackson was also thanked for a job well done.

At branch level CWA has a diverse range of interests for its members with the study of a county each year and this year it will be New Guinea.

It also has a cultural and handicraft section and each year it studies a primary product as well as its flora and fauna. CWA raises money for various charities.

Nyngan CWA catered for the Far Western Group conference on Saturday, October 13 with members from other branches coming to Nyngan for a day of discussion and decisions.

Nyngan CWA will be holding a street stall on Friday, October 19 with raffles and goodies for sale. Your support would be greatly appreciated.

From getting involved in projects, campaigning on issues or becoming part of an interest group, the Nyngan CWA Branch offers a diverse range of opportunities.

Local participation can also include fundraising at events to sharing delicious recipes too!
