EastEnders fans are worried that they could soon be forced to say goodbye to soap stalwart Dot Branning in upcoming scenes as she has returned to Walford with serious health worries. Surely she isnt set to die in what would be one of the shows most tragic twists to date?
With Dot having confided in Sonia Fowler that she is worried, she seeks a second opinion and makes a worrying confession to Jack tonight. Not content with what she hears from doctors, Dot will take advice from Dr Legg, the only GP she can trust.
But just hearing the words that Dot has health worries has made viewers fear for her mortality and they are begging Walford bosses not to write out the icon – especially so soon after she took an extended break from the show.

We know that EastEnders love a grim Christmas but surely they arent going to put us off our turkey and sprout sandwiches by finishing off the Queen of Walford?

As it stands, our worries should really be with Dr Legg as later in the week after he gives Dot a clean bill of health, he has his own confession to make. And following a potentially fatal diagnosis, he is set to make the decision to stop treatment.
