Cancers wacky and happy road trip to visit town

Over 155 people will be hitting the roads taking on Camp Qualitys annual motoring adventure esCarpade driving from Bathurst to Wagga Wagga between October 20-27.

This year 62 themed cars will take part in a week-long adventure stopping in Nyngan on October 25 to showcase their wacky designs and help raise money for Camp Quality.

ALSO MAKING NEWS:

Marcus Hughes will be joining esCarpade for the fourth time, alongside many old and new faces. Mr Hughes has a special connection to Camp Quality after losing his son Daniel to acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at the age of seven.

“He was focused in the moment, with joy, unconditional love and a positive attitude, regardless of the circumstances,” Mr Hughes said. “As a result, he touched everyone he came in contact with.”

Over 61 percent of Australian children diagnosed with cancer are supported by Camp Quality programs and services.

Camp Quality is a registered, not-for-profit, childrens cancer charity which has been operating in Australia since 1983 and relies heavily on the generosity of everyday Australians and corporate partners to keep programs and services running.

Fundraisers like esCarpade help to raise the much needed funds for Camp Quality to reach more children across the country.
