Avengers theory suggests Ultron isnt dead – and is living inside Vision

While Age of Ultron saw the enemy of the Avengers, Ultron, have its last inhabited body destroyed in battle, one feisty Avengers fan has another theory.

We might have breathed a sigh of relief, you know, until Thanos turned up and effed stuff up in Infinity War, that Ultron wasnt around to give the team grief.

However, one reddit user by the name of EmperorJoker (EJ), believes Ultron might actually still be kicking and knew all about Thanos plan to wipe out the population.

Taking to all good prophesying realms, the internet, EJ believes the most simple explanation is the fact Ulton is not a living being – he is AI.

And can AI really be killed off that easily?

I believe he lives inside of Vision or kept/had a single drone stay out of the fight. Literally thats all he had to do. He didnt have to do anything fancy he just had to have one body or drone stay out of the fight, he told the world.

And, to be fair, he has a point. Would the Avengers be looking at EVERYONE for Ultron?

But EJ wasnt done.

On to my theory about how he could be inside or might actually be Vision. I believe he uploaded himself inside of Vision like a virus and he was why Vision developed a romantic interest in Wanda, EJ added. In Age of Ultron its clear Ultron and Wanda have a strange sort of connection and he even expressed concern for her.

They then add Ultron had the inside intel on Thanos arrival and knew that the villain (or is he?) would take care of eliminating all that he had previously set out to.

So he was able to just chill with Wanda while living inside Vision. Pretty romantic plan, if you ask us, non?

I think maybe he some how predicted Thanos coming and he realized he wouldnt have to do anything to realize his goal and instead opted for being with Wanda via Vision. I like this idea because it really adds depth to Ultron and adds to his agency, EJ said. Cute.

EJ concluded: The reason I believe hes alive because as stated hes not human or even organic. There are so many ways he can be alive. He could even be recovered by some random computer geek who finds one of his heads.

Ultron was steps ahead of them all I find it hard to believe he is really dead and didnt plan a contingency for his demise.

Hmmm, the people have thoughts about this.

Some felt that perhaps Ultron is just chilling inside the mind stone, which, if youll recall, another punter theorised was the true villain of the franchise, so this ties in nicely.

Another supported the theory, by adding Ultron is an inevitable, bringing it all back to the world of the comics.

In the comics at least, Ultron and Jocasta are “inevitables.” Eventually, they will come to exist, regardless of anything else, the user commented. So yeah, eventually he has to come back. Not necessarily because hes backed up somewhere, but because it is inevitable. Youre probably right about the how of it though!

Another brought Wakanda into the mix, as they replied: Great theory.. Ive been hoping for it since the end of Age of Ultron. Itd be cool if the Ultron virus inside Vision transferred itself into Wakandas technology when Shuri was trying to remove the Mind Stone.

Eventually Ultron could find himself a Vibranium body while in Wakanda.

Well, wouldnt that just send the gang into a tizz.

We hope Marvel are watching, reading and taking in these theories right now – basically the MCU fandom could write the whole next wave of the franchise.

At least we only have seven or so months to wait until Avengers 4 hits our eyebuds and we can rest easy. Or not at all.
