Keyboard player Neil Mitchell added that Kevin puts me back in touch with that soul feeling when we first started.

Kevin has been a fan of their work for years, and joining them is a dream come true. Im really excited for the opportunity and to open up a new chapter in my career.I grew up listening to the Wets and Goodnight Girl was in my set list when I started off doing the pubs and clubs 20 (sic).

He added that the news is slightly surreal.

Along with my love for the songs, I became obviously a huge admirer of Marti Pellow and his amazing voice and have huge respect for the past of the band and what they achieved, he said.
