Coronation Street star Beverley Callard has promised that Liz McDonald will be the one to bring Jim down when the truth inevitably comes out about his vicious lie that their daughter Katie survived.
At the moment, Hannah is posing as Katie and she and Jim are trying to con her out of money but due to his feelings for his ex-wife surfacing again, Jims conscience has been pricked and he starts to back out of the plan. However – its too late!
Speaking on This Morning, Bev said: It has to be Liz (who gets revenge) hasnt it? But I think theres a long time to go before than could or would happen…

Bev admitted to not being initially sure about the storyline when she first heard about it – and its certainly been a controversial one for fans! But she has since embraced it and has loved being reunited with Charles Lawson, who plays Jim.

She explained: I have to admit when they first told me about this story they said your daughter is coming back from the dead – I wasnt too sure about it but the way theyre doing it there are more twist and turns and its just so wonderful to play.
She is so vulnerable as well because shes feeling very lonely and of course theres this attraction with Liz and Jim and they cannot fight that at all. Jim just begins to think that Johnny cannot have Liz: “I wont let that happen!”
So thats beginning to come through, its all interwoven and gets every complicated. Charlie and I love working together and when he came back we just instantly fit. Working with Charlie is like Beverley putting her slippers on – I love working with him. We get the giggles constantly and are always in trouble!
But not as much trouble as Big Jim is about to find himself in.
