He wouldnt be Mac Nightingale unless he was scheming, and its not the first time hes been out to get Hunter McQueen in Hollyoaks.
He might be acting like the leopard who changed his spots, but Mac is very much the same as ever, and hes got his sights set on Hunter. He and Hunter have had unfinished business since Mac took the chance to kill their shared love interest, Neeta, as Hollyoaks High collapsed, and now Mac is out to finish taking revenge on what remains of his adultererous enemies.
With his facade of innocence being crucial to his relationship with Alfie, Mac is determined to keep his intentions under wraps, lashing out at Hunter through manipulation and secret confrontations. But with Hunters anxiety making him vulnerable, how will he react to this new threat?
Mac is definitely the master of isolating people, so when he pretends Hunter has pushed him over, or when he proves Hunters temper by destroying the mural of Neeta, his reaction is unpredictable. If Mac gets his way, Hunter is set to lose everyone.
Of course, Mac is capable of much worse than just harassment- what else could he have in mind for Hunter?
