EastEnders has aired bloodshed at the Queen Vic and viewers have three big questions – who has been shot, who shot them and will they die? The dramatic chain of events started, as ever, with menacing Stuart Highway, who is on a mission to make the Carters suffer.
As he lured Mick to his flat having shown him a video he secretly took of Linda sleeping, Stuart tried to goad him into attacking him and Mick eventually snapped, thumping him and leaving him injured.
Realising how twisted Stuart is, the Carters were on their guard and had an edgy night ahead of them with Shirley arming herself with a bat and Halfway insisting Whitney stayed with him so that he knew she was safe.

But the Vic wasnt the safest place to be as Stuart soon found his way in and lurked in the darkness, ready to make his move. Holding a gun, he struck and a gunshot rang out across Albert Square.

Viewers are in the dark over who has been gunned down – is it one of the Carters or perhaps Whitney or even Stuarts brother Halfway? Or maybe Dylan has been caught in the crossfire. It might even be Stuart himself as his revenge backfires quite literally.
Whoever the victim is, this is the start of a long running storyline and fans will have to wait and see if the person on the receiving end of the bullet makes it through.
