Shes the undisputed queen of break-up anthems and diss tracks.
Taylor told her fans: Its legitimately an album about finding love throughout all the noise.
It starts with the noise and how that makes you feel, she said. And how it makes you feel when people are saying things about you that you feel, like, arent true and living your life sort of in defiance of that.
And then, sort of, in the middle of the album you kind of realize “how much do I really value that?” she added.
Taylor said that finding something real in spite of a bad reputation is what shes singing about now.
The musician was criticised for turning into a Mean Girl after the release of Look What You Made Me Do because she had started to use music to hit back at the people in the industry who were bad-mouthing her.
And since the release of Reputation, the musician has noticeably stayed out of the spotlight, choosing instead to invest time in boyfriend Joe.
Having previously experienced some of the most high profile relationships in pop – cough, Tom Hiddleston – Taylor has kept this one distinctly off-limits.
And it seems to be working because its believed that Taylor is the happiest shes ever been.
