Matt Damon will always be there for Ben Affleck as he vows to stand by his friend during third rehab stint
Matt Damon has reportedly thrown his support behind Ben Affleck.
Its understood that the Good Will Hunting actor has and will always be there for his high school buddy turned Hollywood comrade.
Ben cited Matt as one of his strongest supports in 2012 and now, as he returns to rehab for alcohol addiction for a third time, its believed he can count on an old friend.
They have been friends for years, an insider told People this week.
Lets remember that they each have their own families and careers to deal with.
Matt and Ben, who attended Cambridge Ringe and Latin High School together in Boston, moved to Los Angeles to find success in Hollywood at the same time.
Even their first big break came as a duo.

They both famously won the Best Original Screenplay at the Oscars in 1998 after developing the script for Good Will Hunting together, while they were out of work.
Just this month, 10 years on, the actors announced their latest professional collaboration.
Ben will direct and Matt will star in a true-crime story about the McDonalds Monopoly game, Variety reports.
Not only professionally but personally, the duo have also remained tight after a decade in the spotlight.

Six years ago, speaking about his recovery, Ben credited Matt with being a part of a network he could reply on.
He said: I had good friends. I had Matt Damon, I had my brother [Casey], and I had a nucleus of friends that I grew up with and I had support from.
Ben was seen being driven to a live-in facility in LA County by his estranged wife Jennifer Garner last week as he seeks treatment for alcohol addiction.
In the past, he sought help in 2001 and 2017.
