BTS to talk about their effect on music at sold-out event at Grammy Museum

K-pop boy band BTS will be talking about their music at a sold-out event at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Dubbed A Conversation with BTS, the event will be held at 7PM on 11 September at the Clive Davis Theater and will be moderated by Grammy Museum Artistic Director Scott Goldman.

The event will give these talented artists a unique opportunity to share more about what matters to them and how life and music have changed since their attention-grabbing arrival on the world scene, according to the Grammy website.

According to the museum, this program is a conversation and will not include a performance.

The members of BTS are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. BTS has gained recognition from their authentic, self-produced music. From their top-notch performances to the way they interact with their fans, BTS has become a global phenomenon since they debuted in June 2013, the event summary reads.

BTS appearance will be held after their world tour at Staples Center in Los Angeles on 5-6 and 8-9 September and a day before they perform at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on 12 September.

Meanwhile, following their historic feat with IDOL, YouTube has released to Metro.co.uk the updated list of the top 10 most viewed music videos in the first 24 hours.

The IDOL music video, uploaded on YouTube on 24 August, garnered over 45 million views in the first 24 hours to set the record for the biggest music debut in YouTube history.

On its Twitter page, YouTube acknowledged BTS big achievement.

Congratulations to BTS! IDOL now holds the record for the biggest music video debut in YouTube history, earning over 45 million views in its first 24 hours, YouTube said.

The music video edged out Taylor Swifts music video for Look What You Made Me Do, which accumulated 43.2 million views in 24 hours and held the record for months.

In the latest top 10 most viewed music videos in the first 24 hours, Fake Love, a BTS music video released in May, placed fifth with 35.9 million views.

The music video for BTS DNA, meanwhile, had 22.3 million views in the first 24 hours.
