Coronation Street spoilers: Has Chesney Brown killed Henry Newton in dark exit twist?

Henry is missing in Coronation Street

Chesney Brown doesnt have a sinister bone in his body – or so we thought until tonights episode of Coronation Street. Okay, granted, we have seen this guy get so intense that he has walloped a brick into his own face to get back at Daniel Osbourne but tonight, we went full on rogue when he tricked Henry Newton into a car with thugs who had made it clear they intend to seriously hurt or even kill him.

So will Henry die thanks to the actions of Chesney? Perhaps we will never know because Gemma Winter has washed her hands of her lying boyfriend pretty casually and instead just brushed aside any fears of his violent end with the offer of a cup of tea with Chesney. Alls well that ends will eh?

After Gemma discovered Henrys plot to sue Jenny and Johnny Connor via a fake injury, she decided that he had told one lie too many and packed his bags for him – and no amount of pleading could change her mind.

Resigned to the fact that his relationship was over, Henry needed to get out of town – so Ches offered him a lift. Henry climbed gratefully into the car but Chesney then walked away while Henrys enemies clambered in and sped off.

Henry screamed for help and we can only imagine what is in store for him – but Gemma and Ches seem nonplussed. They got him then? Gemma asked, before her thoughts turned to the contents of her kettle. Cold, guys. Real cold.

George Banks has filmed his final scenes so who knows if we will ever see Henry again…
