If Kate Winslet wont go to the movie crew, the movie will come to Kate Winslet.

The British actress is believed to be opening the doors to her £4.1million beachside home in West Wittering for filming on her new drama Blackbird.

The Mail On Sunday claims Kates 8-bedroom home in West Sussex will serve as the setting for the film so that she doesnt have to leave her family.

Kate wants to stay close to home for the sake of her family, their source explained.

Shes been joking about how she wont have to go to work – work will come to her.

Kate currently shares the home with husband Ned Rocknroll and six-year-old son Bear.

The film stars Diane Keaton as a mother intent on getting her two daughters (played by Winslet and Mia Wasikowska) together before she dies.

Kate also looks after daughter Mia, 17, and Joe, 14, and previously insisted that the children are never flown from pillar to post or looked after by nannies.

Kate fell for third husband Ned, the nephew of Richard Branson, in 2011.

Bransons multi-million-pound Great House was the scene of an horrific fire at the hands of Hurricane Irene during Kates stay.

I met my husband in a house fire, she told Entertainment Tonight.

He was the only dude who had a head torch and a pair of shoes. Everyone else left everything behind. I took a bra and our passports, and my children.

So I married him – I was like, Ill go for the guy with the head torch.

Kate had initially taken the trip with on-off boyfriend model Louis Dowler.

In July, the businessman recalled how Kate stayed on a couple of days in Necker Island where she met Ned, and fell in love with him.

She fell in love, Branson declared in July. Because of the fire she stayed on an extra couple of days to help out and fell in love with my nephew and got a beautiful child by it.

She married Ned in December 2012 in a secret ceremony and they welcomed their son Bear in 2013.
