Three injured as car rams into pedestrians in Spain’s Zaragoza – media

Three people have been injured as a car hit pedestrians in Casetas, northwestern Spain. The vehicle fled the scene, according to local media reports.

The vehicle came across the sidewalk around 9:20am local time on Monday, causing panic in the neighborhood Casetas, Zaragoza province. Three pedestrians – a 45-year-old man and an old couple – were injured in the incident, local media said. All the victims were sent to hospitals and they reportedly have no life-threatening injuries.

The driver initially fled the scene, but he and a person who was in the car at the moment of the crash were later arrested, according to Heraldo. While they have not been identified so far, that paper says they both are young.
